The questions we're asked most, for patients and for clinics. Can't find your answer? Email us at support@dentlog.app.
For patients
How do I get into Dentlog?
Through an invitation from your clinic, by email or QR code. If you can’t find the email (check spam too), ask the clinic to send a new invitation.
Does it cost anything?
No. Dentlog is free for patients.
I forgot my password.
On the sign-in page, choose “Forgot password?” and we’ll email you a link to set a new one.
How do I cancel or change a visit?
In “Visits”, choose “Cancel visit”; the clinic is told straight away. To change the time, contact the clinic.
When do reminders arrive?
24 hours and 2 hours before each visit. In “Visits” → “Reminders” you choose whether you also get them by email.
Something in my chart is wrong.
Your clinic records the entries and only the clinic can correct them. Tell them which tooth and which date it is about.
Who can see my chart?
Only the clinics you have approved. Reception staff only see appointments, not your history. In “Privacy” you can see who opened your chart and stop a clinic’s access.
How do I get a copy of my data?
“Privacy” → “Download everything” → “Export”. The file has your profile, history, consents and access log.
I want to delete my account.
Email us at support@dentlog.app from your account’s email address. Your clinic keeps its own medical record as the law requires; for that, contact the clinic.
Where is my data stored?
On servers inside the European Union. Clinic staff sign in with two-step verification, and every time your chart is opened it is logged.
I have a question about my teeth.
For health questions, please ask your dentist. Dentlog can’t give medical advice.
For clinics
How can our clinic start?
We are running a free pilot for 3 to 5 clinics. Try the app with fake data at demo.dentlog.app and email us at support@dentlog.app.
How much does it cost?
The pilot is free. Prices for afterwards are not set yet; we’ll shape them with the pilot clinics.
Why is two-step verification required?
Dentist and reception accounts open patient charts, so a stolen password alone must not be enough. You need an authenticator app on your phone, and you keep your recovery codes somewhere safe.
I lost the phone with my codes.
Sign in with a recovery code, then in “Security” choose “Move to a new phone”. If you have no recovery codes, email us from your account’s address.
What does reception see?
The schedule and patient invitations: they book, move and cancel visits. They don’t see history, X-rays or notes.
